Unlike wood, which chips, or metal, that scratches and bends, fiberglass scaffolding will not chip or dent as easily as the other materials. Fiberglass is not indestructible, but it can take a beating. One of the biggest benefits of fiberglass over other materials is that it is not affected by water. Metal will rust in water and wood will swell up in water, but fiberglass is not fazed by water.
